But the doctor was fantastic! They tried to make me an appointment with the NP, and both my daughter and my sister say very negative things about her. I was probably a bit blunt on the phone when I said "no!", but got an appointment with another doctor in the practice that my husband has seen before - we both like her very much. She was fantastic! She gave me some great advice for some other issues I'm dealing with as well. I raved about how much I like and appreciate her to the front desk.

I did do a 24 hour fast yesterday from food. But I drank plenty of cranberry juice and ginger ale. Ate from 5-7 pm. Going for either 16:8 or 18:6 today! (for real - getting off the juice since I have drugs now!)
Good on you!

I looovve 24 hour fasts.

I feel great!

Ended up doing 20:4 today - and more than 500 calories. Sitting around a hospital all day and waiting does not mix well with fasting for me.

Good news - the husband's surgery was 100% successful!

Gonna stick to 16:8 ish for the weekend. He needs me fed and alert so I can pay attention to his needs.

After this weeks OMAD and three 600 calories days, we have a new record low... 192.7 lbs.

Great job Eaton!

18:6 yesterday - fasted from 7 pm - 1 pm and then ate from 1-7 pm.

Only going for a 12 hour fast today. I have to be at the hospital for 6 am for the husband's rehab. I'm gonna be there all day, so I'm having breakfast. Gimme some scrambled eggs and a chocolate chip muffin!

12:12 yesterday - very rough day overall.

Back to at least 16:8 today.

Thanks, Lucy!

I was good this weekend. Only gained 0.4 lbs.
I did eat lunch both days... a couple of pork chops on Saturday and a couple of tins of sardines on Sunday.
The sardines are actually quite filling, probably because of the oil.

We went to a Japanese restaurant for Valentine's on Saturday.
Because I ate less than half of the rice, my blood sugar stayed under 300, which was easily brought back under control.
The rest of a Japanese dinner is pretty low carb compliant, except for maybe the ginger salad dressing.

Crustless pizza on Sunday.

There could be a number of record lows set this week.
Back to my normal OMAD routine for the next 5 days...

16:8 yesterday. Still ate way too much, but all healthy foods at least....

The hospital really sucks.

17:7 yesterday. Fasted from 7 pm - 12 noon, and then ate from 12-7 pm. Better food choices again. Not great, but better.

Home from the hospital and heading back to work today. Hopefully I can get back into my routine now. That will help a lot with my food choices.

I had low blood sugar last night.
Not that unusual, except that I shot an amount of insulin that shouldn't have gotten me in trouble.
I may have to re-calibrate because I'm skinnier.
