Then that's pretty sad because its an awful place to live if you're not connected with the siloviki. Its better than history in all other countries too.

I think you should read about the pre-Putin era more.
I think I know about the pre-Putin era and it sucked huilo quite a bit, no?

After all, Russias economy is dependent on oil prices since they haven't accomplished to diversify their economy from raw materials. I think Russia should allow the import of Finnish and Baltic (cheese mostly) products so it wouldn't have to be smuggled over the border anymore?!

You must look at dynamics of development of rural production in Russia for last years.
