In Russia there are rumors about the movement of Russian troops to the border with Ukraine.
Well, the West wants Russia to control the border, impossible to do without a mass amount of troops.
At this point, I am almost wishing for Russia to enter Donbass to assist; while I have been pretty against it, and against the Crimea issue, Kiev has done nothing to convince me they have good intentions. I think Kiev's actions has actually validated the concerns people in Donbass and Crimea had for doing what they did.
As for the West's response; the West has a habit waiting for thousands, even millions getting killed before they declare something needs to be done. Being proactive in the West only means for securing resources, not for securing people. I do not have much faith in the West's reporting of what is going on in Donbass, they cannot even get Zimmerman's 911 call correct without putting a spin on it.
As for the UN, they stood by in Rwanda while the genocide occurred, no one should ever expect the UN to provide any degree of safety.
Who said that?
Donbass's always been a part of Ukraine, most of its population are Ukrainians.
No offense to Russians, but nobody's stupid enough to change one poor country to another poor country, economically I mean.
Russia towers above Ukraine in economics and quality of life. Ukraine is about to get worse, especially once those IMF conditions set in and Ukraine starts feeling the impact of their economic decisions.
VERY IMPORTANT! UN admitted war crimes of ukrainian army in Donbass!
Yes, please provide sources, reliable sources, of information like this. It does the discussion no good to proclaim an organization stated a claim as large as this, and not have a source for it.
I did a quick search and could not find anything, even then, "war crimes" can mean a lot of things.
The article says that human rights have been violated on both sides, and so is the situation deretiorating, but naturally the Russian media twists this to "Ukrainian Army is commiting war crimes against innocent children and the Donbass separatists are rightful soldiers of god".

I agree with you here as usual; interestingly enough however if Putin WON'T do anything substantial for Donbass people, his throne will start shaking under him. He will lose the kind of support he was enjoying lately. The Russians are quite divided on the issue and he can sense that his popularity ( particularly among certain segment of population) is slipping away because he is failing to give the adequate help to Donbass.
That's why his propaganda team starts reminding of the success in Crimea I suspect.

Maksim....my suggestion.... Call your representative ......urge them to THINK before more and more of Ukraine explodes.
I've been watching the World Cup. We can learn /a little bit about the world there. One usually can see how chaos in the defense and in the midfield contributes and leads to a loss. Once it's out it's hard to recover. A point to ponder.
