Germany was asked about the differences between the Americans and the Russians.
“The Russians had left” - Germany answered

"What repatriation of French general might do for Franco-Russian ties"

"Russian specialist Hélène Carrère d'Encausse told Le Figaro newspaper that Macron "has a sense of symbols" and sees a reburial ceremony as possibly helpful in his four-month diplomatic campaign to coax Russia into the Western fold.
"President Macron is trying to put Franco-Russian relations back on track," she said.

Ahead of last August's G-7 summit in Biarritz, Macron showed how adept he is at using symbols and history when he hosted Putin at his summer residence on the French Riviera. Macron hailed the impact Russian artists and writers had on France, saying they served as a reminder of how Russia is essentially a European nation."

See you later, Euro...
Who cares what some French is saying. Don’t be so gullible- today they say one thing - tomorrow something else.
Russia should know its achievements..
Why do Russians want so badly to be a part of the Western/European world?

Russia spans geographically in Europe and Asia, draw their history, language and culture from both continents and historically have ties to the population/ countries inhabiting both continents.
Russia is unique( no offense to Turkey- not quite the same)

Russia “wanting” to call yourself “European” would be the same as someone asking for equal rights when in fact they are superior!
Please, someone translate it to all Russians!
Screw the Western world! And Europe in particular! It is not enough!
Russia is both Western and Eastern- better yet- they just great Russians- unique culture, unique country no need to diminish yourself to just “Western”, European, etc

Even if he has some good ideas again he's not god or self-ruler of the EU.

No, that's not what I am saying.
Opinions can differ of course, the question is - whose opinion matters more in EU.
It's called "reality check."

(After all, it were YOU, who stated that Serbia's needs are unimportant, what's important is what Bulgaria wants.

Ughmm. )

Also - 5 year olds know that russia is eurasia while eastern europe is europe, it's no brainer and it has nothing to do with "cozying up" to anyone as you call it.

Russian "think tank" is still in Moscow/St Petersburg, as it has been for centuries ( check where it's located on the map.
Asia is essentially a "Russian colony" if you wish.

It's just Russians have different concept of how to deal with the conquered lands ( and why not to have them overseas, as Western Europeans did.)

I am pointing at today's international politics, the way they are lining up.

SOME do, but the majority do not, recognizing that they are a separate entity, in my opinion on par with the US - the modern state that was originally organized by European settlers, but then imported all kind of people. The only major differences is - the Russians acquired different people TOGETHER with their lands.

Yes it is.

Ethnic Russians ARE Europeans originally.

The "Western world" is older than Russia, and it contributed a great deal to the birth of modern Russian state. This can't be overlooked, and as much as I recognize the uniqueness of Russian culture, I have no desire to feed Russian nationalism - I saw the dark side of it too.

You seem to have little knowledge of the modern version of history. After all, now every schoolboy knows that the most ancient nation on earth is the Ukrainians. No one knows what galaxy they came from or where their homeland is. They brought the light of reason to Earth. They taught the Chinese to read and write, built the Egyptian pyramids, and fought with Alexander the Great.

Yes, the armor is not the strongest side of it, but at certain angles the frontal armor works very well. I caught ricochets on it and from Maus and Jagdpz100. Its main trump card is an almost impenetrable turret and it is necessary to play on it from the relief. Then it is revealed in all its glory.

And I've also posted about the whole EU budget thing several times already, during the brexit complains around 2014-2015 where the UK posters were explaining how they can't vote to leave the eu "because bulgaria and romania..." etc etc.
