If the jet was shot down, then the wreckage and eyewitness accounts should prove this. If no information is received, then most likely this is really a fire in the engine.

Well what did you see in that video?
What's your opinion of it?

It's fire. I don't know.

But most likely an air defense missile at night should have left a mark. The video does not have a moment of ignition, but people should have seen it if they managed to shoot it on a smartphone. But maybe this video is fake. All official services (from Iran, Ukraine and Russian official propaganda) say that it was a fire in the engine.

From Telegram (one of the opinions):

Ðо!

Translate: It's not missile.
The CNN also does not write anything about a missile (it would be very beneficial for them, but they don't write).
At the moment, it looks like it's an engine. But the Boeing and an fire engine... I do not know. It’s strange.

As I understand it, the only source about the attack of air defense is a tweet (and only one tweet) of the Palestinian edition of Al-Hadat:

Incomprehensible source.

The Ukrainian embassy in Iran removed information that the disaster could NOT be a terrorist attack from the morning news:

I see the same patterns of holes in the fuselage in both pictures. A pattern of 4 below the window. It could be shrapnel from a missile or from a disintegrating engine.

We all remember the Malaysian plane shot down in 2014. The warhead left a distinct pattern, those holes seem more random. The only other thing it might be is something like a Shilka spraying bullets, the pattern is more random. Shilkas use tracers though and I see none in the videos.
