Im guessing the hotel will have a restaurant inside which would be nice as it would bring a new restaurant to eta downtown. On that note does the hotel at the ballpark have a full restuarant or it just a bar? Has anyone on here eating there if it is indeed a restaurant at that hotel?
It's taken 13 years to complete 3 miles of the 4 mile Downtown Greenway. 13 years.
that’s even more insane, 3 miles…. Of 4, 13 years, after moving and traveling around, I still have love for Greensboro, But even I admit when it comes to downtown development, it lags behind every other major city in NC, and I’m not sure if that’s due to the city itself, or their unwillingness for change, but there is a silver lining, The ballpark area DOES show that the city CAN do it.

If you're talking about the Hyatt Place, there's no restaurant. They have a lobby bar per their website, but nothing that would be particularly be of interest to someone not staying in the hotel. They appear to have a grab and go market too.
When Carroll SOB is built, they really need to incorporate some retail. Not doing so at Bellmeade was a humongous missed opportunity IMO.

He definitely will. He wanted to with Carroll at Bellemeade but there wasn't enough land on site to incorporate both retail and parking. Carroll Ballpark South has a big parking deck so there will be room for ground floor retail.

Much of it is just asphalt with a little shrubbery and plants. The most interesting part of the Greenway will be the western leg that borders Greensboro College. That will be the most expensive part of the greenway and its the last leg to be completed. They still have not built the cornerstone artwork for the Southeastern leg at East Gate City Blvd and Murrow Blvd
.
Another step towards construction of Carroll Ballpark South.
City has the green light to demolish the behavior health building at North Eugene St and West Friendly Ave. Perimeter construction fencing has been installed. Once the building is torn down, the property will be turned over to Roy Carroll. Hard to believe a year plus has gone by since it was announced that the behavior health center would remain in operation before the building would be torn down.
