Yet, people will.
I AGREE!! Other locations have better coffee, and better service, at lower prices! Give them a try and you'll see what I mean.

That's a great idea!!! Downtown needs more areas that help connect each section.. and breaking down that huge site into smaller sections ,would offer more options of things to have in the area!

It could definitely be more than one complex. Maybe 1-2 apartment buildings at 5-6 stories each, a parking garage that is "hidden" with some ground level retail. A small park and then maybe a hotel and some office space in one mixed use development would go well there.

Simply an apartment complex would be a waste of space.

Looks a lot better than the last one revealed at the workshop. It appears the height of the hotel will be about the height of Project Slugger or currently known as 400 Bellemeade. Looks to be 10 to 11 stories tall even though it has 8 floors of hotel rooms. Beautifully designed project though. Roy Carroll has uped his game in terms of design. This is what an urban hotel is suppose to look like. In terms of design, this beats the one in downtown Raleigh and its a little taller. Too bad the Westin won't look as nice.

Can you point out an example of "the DOWNTOWN RALEIGH" hotel that is is supposed to be, "in terms of design", better and taller? LOL BTW the Westin is a total fail. Look at the downtown Raleigh Kimpton.

I assume he means the AC hotel in downtown Raleigh and after googling it... yeah I'd agree with him.

Might we be seeing more street level retail in this project than was originally proposed? That would be a huge win for that side of downtown as I'd love to see some places to go in the immediate vicinity of the ballpark.

Still pulling for a Yardhouse or something like it.
