Meanwhile, my son is visiting a friend five states away and they are eating in popular restaurants and going to bars. He has already apologized for being the one who will probably infect me and cause my death.
WOW!!!!! This is why the virus is spreading so fast! Irresponsible young adults!!
This doesn't terrify me - didn't we always know that younger people get it, but just don't show symptoms like older people?
This too is not true. They can and do get it bad enough to be admitted to the hospital, they just most likely won't die and will recover but it will not be a pleasant recovery.
My husband and I stay at home, go out just for food. I am sick, but not panicked. Think we are young enough to survive (34 yo). If not, it's not a big deal, really. Russians don't fuss over it, guess we are just used to living in constant turmoil. We actually have a joke about people who panick over coronavirus and buy tons of toilet paper - it's because per one person sneezing there are a hundred ones sh-- pooping their pants.
My 13 year old pekingese with heart failure and blind (due to his eyes being removed last year for glaucoma and ulcers) needed his heart meds. They told me to drive to the parking lot, call the clinic, they would come out, get my credit card, give me the meds, go in and use the card and bring it back to the car.....they either do that with everyone or only the elderly, I'm 73.....
