This is what I do - I give my appliances a little spray of water and then wipe down with a microfiber clean and they are perfect - I find stainless very easy to keep clean and certainly no more difficult than black (which I had in my previous kitchen). Microfiber cloths work well on almost any wood, stone, glass or metal surface. I can clean all my stainless appliances in 2 minutes tops - from top to bottom.

I think some kitchens just call for appliances of a certain color - depending on the flooring, counters, cabinet color, wall color, natural and artificial light, etc. I personally would not discount any color appliance other than bisque/almond (just not something I could live with).

Stainless Steel will go out of style.

White is timeless.

Stainless has been around for many, many years - everything eventually goes out of style even white appliances....nothing is "timeless." Since most appliances are going to be replaced several times during a lifetime, choose what you like that looks best - the color you choose will probably be perfectly "in style" for as long the appliances hold up....things don't last as long as they used to.

White appliances would look horrid with my kitchen.

That makes total sense to me, I agree with you once again!!

I have Black appliances (my choice) but White appliances would match also....

but, Bisque / Almond would look putrid with mine !!

I vote for White and yes it is boring, but I like it best!

I remember watching TV in the 50s and 60s and seeing coppertone appliances. I thought they were so pretty. I still do, but they're nowhere to be found. It seems my 24 year old almond fridge may be on its last legs. I have no idea what to get as none of the colors currently available turn me on. I'd like coppertone, red, light yellow, or pale green. Unfortunately, it ain't happening.
