Our kids are taught in day school to never take 4 steps without your yarmulke on. And I always find it funny on the day our kids school rents out a water park each year, how many of the dads have bald spots I’ve never seen before. I’ll admit my own dermatologist tells me to never go off the derech because of the amazing “cancer protector” I wear over my bald spot.
Never knew the bolded story, Rabbi Resnicoff marries me and my wife on the Naval Station back in 81. I remember attending services on base for the High Holidays as he officiated over one of the most diverse group of attendees I have every seen in a Synagogue.
What an amazing day that must have been -- not only on account of it having been your wedding day, but for you and your wife to be married by Rabbi Resnicoff. Thanks for sharing the story!
