I'm in the opposite camp. I ski when it is bone-dry & 20 below. I've skied when it is in the high 30s and raining, and frankly it is hardly worth the effort. There are continuous changes in the coefficient of friction of the snow at that temperature.

I'll take the dry 20 Below.

That town is only 6% black. Dude must really hate black people if that’s overwhelming...

Said person really does, based on the posts I've seen. It isn't as blunt as "I hate Blacks", because then it would leave no doubt. However, I read the posts and can see the resentment towards Blacks, and other minorities as well.

Its just like the whole O.T.P thing in Atlanta.

LOL! Does one honestly have start listing all the differences between Ferguson and Minneapolis and why one will recover faster than the other?

I think some people aren't paying attention at all. Ferguson and Minneapolis aren't even in the same league. Minneapolis has had riots before, and recovered.

My guess is that MsBall, like me, doesn’t use the ignore feature to shut out opposing views but those who have nothing of value to add to the conversation. The “eyewitnesses” reporting what they saw on TV are in that category for me.

In short, I’d suggest probably holding off on returning to Minneapolis proper for a while if not indefinitely. The burbs are great. We’ve got great PDs of whom we appreciate greatly.
