Y IS SHE, on here talking about ppl personal life. We are not on here to meet friends, nor judge ppl. Where on here to help better ourselves. Im sure she ask the gover. for help, whether for school, etc. Go THat WaY!

hi can anyone help me i applied in august 2011 and i am still waiting for a interview i updated my application 2 time since then i noticed that my response letters have 2 different appication numbers and it doesnt say anything about that i applied august 2011 it just says different date is it supposed to be like this or do you think nycha made a mistake and also does anyone know if they send you a letter if your application is dead

I spoke with a housing authority manager last week and due to all the damage in so many NYCHA apartments from Hurricane Sandy she stated they have been told to hold off on move ins until further notice at all developments. Their maintenance staff is concentrating on getting their current tenants apartments up to par before they do any work on vacant units for upcoming move ins. Hope this helps.

Excellent info. What development was the housing authority manager from. I only ask because my development is redhook and as u may know that development had some major issues after sandy.

Just an update....Nycha has now made homeless people residing in shelters priority n-0...however you have to be referred by dhs or a dhs agency.

Yes it is,i want to get out so bad. Its definitely not a bad place however i been on my own for so long that these few months that iv been here i can not deal. This is not my type of environment. Its very frustrating when ur grown,u work and still jave to be told wat to do and not do and im somebodys mother. Smh
