I was lazy and only applied to ONE college early fall of senior year and got in and was like omg i am SO happy I don't have to deal with that kinda of anxiety.

i think the best part about the housing lotteries is that it feels like an actual lottery (my grandparents were gamblers... i won't even touch a scratch off ticket!)

"where do you live?"
"in the lego building"
"where is that?"
"i think it's called Pacific Park?"

... what neighborhood is this building, btw? I thought Atlantic Yards?

When I spoke with the lady that helped me and I asked when I would hear something she said that it all depends if my file goes out with the first batch and everything goes well. She at that time said about 2-3 months before move in. I can only imagine how you feel Denise. Your situation seems much more urgent for sure. I hope you get it soon.

In its original iteration it was referred to as Atlantic Yards. It's now been rebranded as Pacific Park. It runs the length of Dean Street from Flatbush to Vanderbilt.

461 is the first of several residential towers. Next up is 535 Carlton, ALL afordable; 555 Vanderbilt, condos; and then 38 6th Ave (behind 461 Dean), also ALL affordable! There will be more opportunities for those of us not selected here, hopefully!

It's for a one bedroom and I was hoping for a studio, but I will take what I can get and I fell within the income guidelines. They pulled my credit report, they said they had it to send to the developer.. I wasn't asked to pay for anything. They didn't mention anything about move in dates or anything like that. CB Pref here and 15K or so.
Hey aquarius, when was your intake interview

It was an appeal interview though because I thought the pet weight limit was 30 pounds so I cancelled my first interview. I'm not moving somewhere without my BFF.
