When did you enter the lottery? The inexpensive apartments are part of the 2021 lottery.

Yeah I was under the impression that I was part of the 2021 lottery but I guess it's the 2020 one...I'll call tomorrow to make sure but the attachment they sent me in the email had the application process for 2020

It is confusing because in the original email they sent me an attachment with the lower rents but in the follow up email they sent the higher rents

They may have made a mistake.

Do you have an email receipt from Stuy Town when you entered? I received an email from 2021stuytownlottery@stuytown.com after I applied, and then later on, I received another email from the same sender telling me what my log number is.

Yea I'm thinking they made a mistake with the first email sending me that photo of the lower rents. I received the email from stuytownlottery@stuytown.com no 2021 in front of it.

Along with the expensive 165% bracket, the 2020 lottery might have had an 80% bracket. If you fall into that one, the one-bedrooms were about $1,500, a great deal. So if you are able to get through to someone in the office, make sure to ask which income bracket you’re in.

Oh ok I'll definitely ask which income bracket I'm in. In the first email they sent me they told me there were no more one bedrooms available

Just got the exact same email. Emailed them back just now with an FWD of an email where they said they received the documents and were under review. I always turn my documents in within two days so I know they're wrong. Hopefully they email me back quickly
