She also responded by email as I had contacted her in multiple formats after getting answer machine. It’s nice that she is so responsive.

Default Renewal question

Curious if people who signed a Stuytown/pcv lottery one or two year lease have gotten a renewal already. Was the amount the same or was there an increase? Any new wording between the initial lease and the renewal? Thanks in advance

We renewed our lease from 2017 lottery a few time. Rent stabilized increases. Am curious about 2021 as well.

Curious how big the increases were each time? Did it go up substantially? Would be happy to share our rate if you want to dm.

Everyone in ST/PCV is rent stabilized at present. That means everybody gets the same percent of an increase.

Do they still do this?

Yes, unless it's raining or bad rain is predicted. It's a good way to talk face to face with someone high up in management, although I don't think any lottery admins are there.

Hello all!

I have been following this thread since it was started back in 2021. It has been a source of great comfort for me as I waited for my application to get processed and heard stories of success. I am overjoyed to add my own story to this list.

My offer came in just under a week ago for a 1BR in StuyTown for $1700 including AC charges. My log # was 26xx. I was placed on the wait list on February 2022. I received notice that my application was finally ready for processing on July 31st. I accepted the offer as soon as possible and move in a couple weeks.

There never was a 3D tour of my unit or even a reference unit, but the truth is I've stared at so many different units I think I have them all embedded in my mind forever now... (I had a lot of luck digging through StreetEasy's old listings).

I am so excited to live in StuyTown and cannot wait to move in. I'd also just like to add, I've never once spoken to anyone on the phone at StuyTown until the day I received my offer letter. Sometimes, it felt like I was sending emails into the void...if anyone is still hopeful and waiting for their application to be processed-- there are people reading your messages, so don't give out hope!

Good luck all!

Is anyone else concerned about this? Anybody know how this might effect us?
