These advertisements show the income minimum but is there a maximum especially for these lower priced apartments. Like the ones listed in the 2k ranges?

That’s right. I believe the lottery is open to everyone up to the 165 ami which explains the high maximums. Glad I could help!

Are they going off the 2022 AMI as shown on that page or the 2023 AMI shown on this flyer from the NYC HDC website?

I think the 2023 ami considering the price of some of the apartments that have come up. Maybe they just haven’t updated that page yet.

I submitted docs on 8/7 and got explanation sheets the next day which I promptly returned. Anyone know when I should hear back about a decision? It has been a week now.

I'd give it this week before following up. Someone before said they heard about 2 weeks later.

Got it - I'm just antsy cause my lease ends 8/31 and I'm getting nervous if I need to find a backup option.

Appreciate you talking sense into me!

Maybe I'm a pessimist, but I wouldn't count on moving in before 8/31.

This is what a previous poster, TPNYC, said in message No. 398 in this thread:

I have friends moving in August. They didn't get the 4th of July deal, but they got a 2bdr for less than 4k. The process took a very long time. They applied at the beginning of May and are moving in August. But I am beyond happy for them.
