Thankfully my sister is finally moving out of Manhattan really soon, so other than the very rare job from work (I have my choice thankfully), I don't plan to go there much.
I can legally carry 24/7 as well. I don’t worry about my safety regarding an assault, or robbery, I can take care of that. I do however worry about the aftermath. I worry about how a grand jury and the DA will look at my actions.

Can you legally carry because of your job? I’ve been wanting one for my safety but I’ll admit I haven’t checked out the newest concealed carry law. I’m sure it’s still very limited compared to other states?

They actually have a flashing traffic construction sign on 46th an 9 ave. It reads in English and Spanish. Entering Gun Free Zone blah blah blah. I sure hope the Hoodlums take notice. (Eeeeasy pickins!)

I see more economic violence more than anything else and I live downtown.

The illegal workforce is so immense and it is expanding so rapidly. It is so weird that nobody points this out.

If you walk around anywhere in lower Manhattan for 5 minutes you are bound to observe more illegal workers than any other class of people. The illegal workers outnumber Americans. They took every job imaginable. All these transplanted kids are so clueless about how the city was never a majority of illegal aliens. The transplant kids just go on their merry way supporting the illegals who are here to inflict dark times upon all legal Americans.

That is the real crime in the city. That is the biggest elephant in the room. It is not gun violence. It is economic and cultural violence against legal Americans.

Bro grow a pair. Just because one banged out your daughter that doesn’t mean you need to be obsessed with these people. And your facts are all excrement. uS citizens far outnumber illegal migrants workers. You’re obsess with brown stick aren’t you ?

I know violence is everywhere. It just feels like it’s escalated and nothing is being done. Every day is a gamble for New Yorkers.
New York City has one of the lowest murder rates in the country. It should be against the law for you to even
make this thread.

Go move to Philly, DC or Chicago.

People like you are what's wrong with NYC in 2022. No doubt you voted for Adams.

Anyone that completed the 5th grade can tell you %'s are nothing but BS. If a town has 10 people and 5 get murdered, it's a 50% murder rate. Of course, in reality, that's a ridiculous number to be touting.

You have to look at the raw figures, ALWAYS. Never, never compare stats of one city to another city if the denominators aren't exactly even. Everyone knows that Philly and Chitown are dangerous AF. So is NYC. And NYC is worse. Why? Cause you can fall into that % you so love to tout on any given street in NYC. If the other cities, as long as you stay out of the ghetto areas you are fine.

Total apples to oranges.
