try again, we moved here a couple of years ago, but not to this house we bought this house a little over a year ago, paid 244,000.00 mortgage 1400.00 a month, four kids, I cant work right now, I am 36 husband is 38 not that is any of your business, and value does mean something to some people, we always get the mortgage paid, would just like to have medical insurance for a family of 6 oh and dental costs and food and clothes and electric
It not that much to raise kids. Lets be honest! I have three and they have everything. From cars to computers to dirt bikes. Oldest car they own is a 2002 and even a new dirt bike 2006! He made $3333 a month. Payment is $1400. You could make it. $244k on a 1982 house 5 years ago? You did some re-fi then.
Well he works in Phoenix and right now is living in apache junction, same price house just smaller, but he has an interview in Show low with a large building supplier go figure. It isnt just about the money

Ok it is not an area where you want to be. I guess it's like what they say about Gastonia. Crime, bad schools on and on.
Do you want to rent or buy. Seriously I can help you. I don't want to sell you anything but I want your kids to be in a good area in good schools whether you are buying or renting. I have 4 kids too. They are big now though.

No government help? I am not saying that I know you nor that my life is better. It just sounds like "things" don't add up!
We will probably rent first, need great schools, I have a special needs child so schools are first. My husband is staying with a freind in AJ and he loves the schools, but i havent done much research on them, mostly Queen Creek and Chandler and east mesa.

I do not know who is making $40k a yr and actually living in a home but I agree with Tornado Alley - impossible
$40k a yr in NC, claiming married, no other exemptions or deductions earns you at a bi-weekly rate 1168.81 x 2 = $2337.62 per month
Unless there is other money coming in - this would barely cover the cost of elec, water, phone and food
Tornado Alley said it can be done, me nope cant do it.
