Visiting Florida for a few weeks with my parents along. We're staying at my cousin's house who I never knew or met before. He's 40 yrs old, I got a 40 yr old cousin and I'm only 20. His two daughters are 16 and 19, they HAVE to call me uncle.
I don't know what me more angry: the fact that I had relatives I never knew about, or having 2 teenagers call me their uncle.

LOL! I have been an auntie ever since I was three ... Since my bratty nephews and nieces show zero respect, I wished that I had them call me auntie Chatteress from the beginning

My SIL is the same. He is extremely obese and yet he makes fun of fat people with his kids

Maybe the 19 year old is what is referred to as a kissing cousin in some states.

Well, I don't think they have to, it's just out of respect. But I could care less about what they call me. I just think it's weird having a niece that's a year younger than you.
I think I might have mention it a couple of times in here, but I'm not listening or talking to you if you can't learn to listen and think before you speak. IMHO, poor choice of words come from the lack of listening skills.
People who try to tell you how you felt about something and why you acted the way you did about it.
