That's awful If he isn't sensitive to people with disabilities, then why is he even enrolled at this school?
I've been wondering the same thing. I really can't understand what's going through his head. Telling a Deaf person to "read his lips" when he is in a sign language interpreting program at the only Deaf university in the world makes no sense to me!!
My peeve are those impatient drivers that speed towards the intersection and block it trying to make their right hand turn while ignoring the pedestrian who just lost the light that they have been waiting patiently for because to the driver, we don't exist (especially in the rain).
My peeve is when they turn anyway, even if the pedestrian is crossing. (Yes they even do this with me when I'm swinging my cane.)
Mean restaurant customers! At Firehouse Subs, the couple sitting at the table next to ours was extra rude to the employee who took their order and served their meals to their table.
The employee delivered their meal with a smile, but the woman snapped at her immediately, "I SAID WHEAT BREAD, THIS IS WHITE BREAD!!"
The employee immediately apologized, and said she would go make her sandwich on wheat bread for her right away. The woman said, "No, never mind. I will eat this one anyway. BUT PAY ATTENTION NEXT TIME WHEN I SAY WHEAT BREAD!!"
My son and I just looked at each other, shocked that a customer would be so rude over a simple mistake. But then after the employee walked away (after another sincere apology) the woman asked her husband to check the receipt. We heard him say, "No it says white bread" and the woman said, "Oh yeah, I guess I did say white bread this time."

It seems that people like that feel the need to lord it over someome defenseless. Perhaps they have little "power" themselves but a desire to boss around others. I've known several like that.
OMG! Viagra spam has started on my email! I would like to beat the internet sh*t out of wherever/whoever it came from. I've been very careful with this particular email address and apparently I've been screwed -no pun intended.
I was at a drs office today and have always noticed in those places, where they have the counters, corners of tables and chairs, with the sharp corners and edges, rather than the curved, rounded ones, so if someone passes out or a kid (sometimes they can be clumsy) and hits their heads on a table or the counter, they at least hit a blunt edge rather than a sharp edge? Even just to back into a corner of the counter can hurt! It doesnt take a lot of work to sand down edges or counters and tables to where theyre rounded, even just a little, sure beats killing yourself on a corner or slicing your face on a squared edge. Just saying....
One of my BIGGEST peeves is when someone is unhappy and tries to make others unhappy by trying to convince others to not do something that will make the others happy.

NJ that sounds like my ex. When he was 'down', everyone else had to be or else....Heaven forbid anyone who was invited to do something or go somewhere and 'he' wasnt invited! A grown man-child, sheesh. To this day he STILL is like that, with his 5th wife (maybe he should try and figure out why he cant hang onto a wife?) though sometimes people have been known to marry 5 or 6 times before they finally find the right one. One of my bosses is on wife #8 and to this day, 20 years later, is very content.
Dallas Kitty, that spam for cialis and viagra have hit everywhere, even with filters I get it from time to time. Im not sure you can block emails in yahoo.
Pekemom, I agree with you on mean customers. Maybe these customers should see if they could do the job any better!
