We're done here. Every thing that can be said has been said. Have a good evening...
There are three people involved with every pregnancy: a mother, father, and a baby. Regarding abortion, as with any murder, anyone has a right to condemn it.

That's why everyone has the right not to tell you about it.

Murder concerns the public.

They may or may not deserve the backlash but they opened a can of worms and now they have to deal with it. They seem to have alienated both sides though.

Yet you'll never know. Even your mom won't tell you.

Not really. Try this as an experiment. Go to a surgeon and tell him you want your gall bladder removed. When he asks what your gall stone symptoms are, say "Oh, I don't have gall stones. I just want it removed. It's my body so it's my choice". See what he says. Hint: "No. Unnecessary surgeries are unethical."

Go ahead and try telling him that the 14th ammendment guarantees your right to have a healthy gall bladder removed. See how far it gets you.

See, the "my body my choice" thing makes for a nice bumpersticker but it's a pretty poor argument.

That sounds like major surgery. I can, however, get a mole removed without question..or a nose job for that matter.
Lot's of bad things can happen over the course of a pregnancy. That's something you can't debate.

What do I love more than puppies? People telling others how to live. I personally wouldn't have an abortion, but I would never, in my wildest dreams, tell someone else what is right for them. Luckily, we're in America where people have the right to try to tell others how to live. Perhaps those same people can tell me what to cook for dinner since I can't decide.

BTW, yes, I am biased in the SGK vs. PP debate. When I was a newly divorced student without insurance, Planned Parenthood was my only healthcare. Without them my cancer would have gone undetected and I wouldn't be here today. Other women deserve the same.

Most Americans when polled feel that abortion should only be legal under specific circumstances otherwise it's illegal. The baby killers in this thread are a minority. Roe V Wade will eventually be overturned we just need the right people in supreme court.
