I am trying to abide by the constitution as it's on the books, unfortunately some laws are unconstitutional

and i won't abide by them, because they are unfair and unconsitutional and for the same reason why women didn't want to NOT be able to vote and for the same reason every other minority didn't want to 'abide' by laws that were created FOR and FAVORED a majority.

laws that do this are unconstitutional since we all have to be written so that they apply to all people EQUALLY

if you're born with the gay orienatiion marriage being only for heterosexuals isn't equal and violates the fourteenth amendment.

it's also the same reason why the justice department has declared these laws to be unconstitutional

secondly, am i making you go to movies, read books? go to the gym? that's my 'lifestyle' how the heck would you know what my lifestyle is... do i know you?

if you're referring to my sexual orientation the only one trying to SHOVES someone's orientation down ANYBODIES throat is YOU!!! since you think GAY people should have STRAIGHT MARRIAGES and that existing laws that are unjust and violate the constitution should just be accepted.

i have a mother and father and brother and sister and a close friend, who all would definitely NOT vote for Mitt Romney or MOST republicans and it's all because i'm gay. some of them used to vote republican at least half the time but now they never do if that republican is an anti gay republican in ANY WAY. they vote this way because of ME.

if you figure this in doesn't the gay vote actually go up to close to 30-40 percent of the population?
Where has Romney been any more or less pro-gay or anti-gay then Obama?

If your number one concern while voting this November is "gay rights" well you probably need to reevaluate your priorities.
Seems if gays really cared about constitutional rights as well as how those rights supported their agenda then they'd be voting Libertarian.

It's time for them to get their thoughts off those big disco balls, grow their own and step out from under 'big daddy', democrat or republican. If the gay vote 'actually becomes up to close to 30-40 percent of the population' then there would be a big change in the way Congress functions.

Where is gay marriage, or anything about marriage discussed in the US Constitution?

Whats the matter, are you worried someone might try to make you marry someone of the same gender as yourself? You don't have to if you don't want to.

That isnt necessarily true. Someone might accept that someone is gay but doesnt mean they support gay marriage

Pretend you aren't addressing this to a gay person, but to an african american. The year is 1967. Still appropriate?

Also, how would the OP's getting married impose his lifestyle on you in any way?
