FTR, as an anecdote, the mother of one of my friends who's Taiwanese American and runs a bank voted for Obama this year because she was confident that Romney would ruin the US financially and stifle a recovery.
If thats true then why "Obama To Consult Romney On Way Forward"
I do not understand how Asians could have overwhelmingly voted for Obama....
Asians on the most are "hard workers", "ambitious", "intelligent"---the total opposite of Obama...I just don't get it....
You are right about not getting it,in fact you've got it all backwards,it aint republicans who are the hard working people FOX would have you think they are,its the middle class/Democrats who are the hardest working demographic in the country, Asians for the most part identify with middle class ideology obviously...
You never will get it. Asians = educated. Educated people have a vision for the future. They don't buy into the "we can't afford it" mentality of the Republican Party.
The second largest group of illegal immigrants is from Asian countries. It is more about "what is in it for me" than education.

What is with this insane assumption on the right that anyone who voted for Obama is a lazy, unambitious ignoramus looking for their next welfare check?
The fact is the Republican platform is utterly abhorrent to anyone who isn't a religious control freak. It's also quite the turnoff to people who have basic knowledge of history and facts. It's certainly a turnoff to people who can operate a calculator.
People don't want the divisive racist junk, big intrusive government, and failed economic policy that the GOP is selling. It's really that simple.
Yea...it must have been real tuff being a community organizer getting hand outs all your life....
Oh...just curious if Obama is such an intellect heavy weight why doesn't he release his college transcripts...whats he scared of...
What handouts?
He was president of the Harvard Law Review. He also graduated Magna c.um Laude with his JD from Harvard. No need to release any transcripts once you know that.

Talk is cheap and I'm from Missouri, the show me state.

No kidding. The Republican party has made it clear that only white, straight Christians need apply. Also women who don't mind being forced to carry to term fetuses conceived during rape.
A very difficult sell in a country where more and more of the populace is NOT white, NOT Christian, and does not think a women should be forced to carry a rape baby to term. While the country is still mostly straight, more and more people agree that gay people should have rights.
I don't want to see this country turn socialist, but I really really don't want to see this country ruled by religious nutjobs. And I'm really doubtful Romney would have done crap for the economy - he would have done the sick, sadistic part of the social side of the Republican party - outlaw abortion and birth control period, even if a woman is raped, outlaw gay marriage, etc.
