Third to last sentence in the article...enough said.

We are the only country in the world that has not been conquered by tyrants, the only one. Enough said.

So when someone suggest the USA is number one in gun violence and you say -- remember Norway had something once........

It isn't exactly proof positive that the USA isn't number one in gun violence -- lol.

It's one example but there are plenty more. Our politicians love to add regulation to what they already can't enforce. After Bernie Madoff and the financial crisis, they wanted to add all kinds of additional regulations, meanwhile they ignored warnings about Madoff suspicious activity WHILE SEC employees were literally surfing the web for porn at work.

If we enforced the current laws, we could prevent lots of problems.

OH, and actually my "one example" is really 60k examples of one of the most important ways to stop guns from getting into the hands of the wrong people... But I get it, that fact ruins your political rant, it's cool. Just be honest that you don't care about real examples, and you would rather be duped by politicians looking for more power and more money by taking advantage of easily fooled and gullible people who think we need more laws, when in reality it's our government not doing what they previously agreed to do. There's a sucker born every minute, and unfortunately they vote for the manipulators we put in charge.
I wouldnt ask you for real examples if I didnt want to see them. No one posts them here. But youre still not very specific, I was looking to see what ideas you had in your own words.

Do you agree with this:

"It is true that gun laws are vastly under-enforced, but the reason that they're under-enforced is not because the administration or law enforcement has failed: It's because they're written in a way that makes them impossible to enforce -- intentionally," Trumble said. "They're too vague to prosecute, the standards are too high to meet, the penalties are too low to be a deterrent and there's too little evidence to prosecute."

Why can’t you? The military teaches ways to do exactly that.

I see though. Your remedy is reactive and not proactive. No wonder we keep find ourselves in this predicament.

Well when you want to gloss over the fact that dangerous people aren't being put into a database to prevent them from buying guns, it sure seems like you don't want to see them.

And based on that article, you are basically proving my point. We have a bunch of useless unenforceable laws, yet you are going to just listen to these idiots with one objective (power, or maybe money and power) who wrote them/passed them in the first place, who are trying to trick you into more of the same?

In stead of fighting the gun culture ,encourage it .put the criminal element on their heals . Disarming the public only serves the criminal element .
And so far as the second amendment, BY DESIGN the government SHOULD BE AFRAID OF THE PEOPLE. and evil people should be afraid of the good.
Even crazy people do not put their hand in a fire , so committing a felony has consequences that as I see it a good thing.
If a person is committing a crime with a gun, let him feel the force of the consequences , not make new laws that bind the good . Being able to determine ones sanity is a lot of grey area that can be manipulated by either side .
Secondly STOP publicizing the shooting , romancing the criminal only exacerbates the problems. This action is definitely the fault of the media .

Nobody has a problem but us can you run that by again
Foreign countries do not have much guns so they have less gun violence
Do they have lower homicide? I think not- rate?
Top 10 homicide countries -Caribbean and Central America -we are not in top 10
Why are people fleeing Central America ?
And why is the city Tijuana -where I went to school - deemed the most dangerous city on earth
12 miles from sd -last time I checked -tj is not in USA
How about us
29% of American homicides do not involve firearms at all
3300 shootings in Chicago last year
Hardest gun ban laws in USA

Can we do a reality check please

So trump is to blame for other people’s actions.

Typical liberal nonsense.

Yup.

Then Trump declared, in words that now echo with bitter irony, “This American carnage stops right here and stops right now.”

I guess it didn’t stop “right here and right now.” Sad.
