One can be a Mizrahi Jew who's foundation is in the Levant. But go ahead and explain how one could be a Arab Jew (by a Arab marrying a Jew???)
Arab Jews = People whose families have lived in Arabic-speaking countries (Iraq, Morocco, Yemen) for centuries who speak Arabic as a first language and whose culture, aside from religion, is identical to that of the Arabs who surround them.
A 'Jew' is any descendant of the lineage of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob - the people whom God chose to be His people. God later changed Jacob's name Israel, by God. Jacob had 12 sons, sometimes referred to as the 12 tribes of Israel. A Muslim Jew, is a Jew who has decided to follow the false prophet Muhammad.

By your own definition, Jews from Iraq will most likely be Mizrahi Jews while Jews from Morocco will be
Sephardic Jews. People from Yemen could be from either groups due to its alignment in trade routes using the Red Sea or Oman.

I know all this. I also know Iraqi Jews who call themselves Arab Jews.
No, you can have 'Muslim' Jews, 'Mormon' Jews, 'Buddhist' Jews, 'Christian' Jews, etc. Being Jewish is simply belonging to a certain bloodline. It has nothing to do with an accepted or practiced belief system.
There are Arab Jews, but not Muslim Jews. If a Hebrew converts to Islam, they are no longer Jewish.

The only way an Arab will admit to being Jewish, is behind closed doors to extremely trustable friends and family. Past that NO Arab would publically state it. It goes back 100's of years to when a Jewish tribe refused to follow Islam in Saudi Arabia (in the Quran its covered under Glad Tidings). You can have an Arab Christian because today's Christians have nearly nothing in common with the original Christians from 2000 years ago in their belief structure.

You can't decide to 'become' Jewish, and you can't decide to 'not be' Jewish. God's promise was explicitly to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. If you have children from a Jewish person, then your offspring are Jewish by blood. There were many 'mixed race' Jews, ie, the Samaritans were Assyrian/Jewish.
