"No one should suffer because they lack {fill in the blank}" should be prefaced with "No one should be compelled to labor for the benefit of another, so that..." because slavery is not an acceptable solution to the ills of mankind.
there are kids here with life threatening illnesses. so what you're really advocating for is putting them in danger by stretching our resources so thin that they can't get the treatment they need. so the real question here is "why do liberals hate american children so much?" first they have to survive an abortion and the public school system, and now you people want them competing with criminals for medical care? and you wonder why your trendy little "movement" is not taken seriously.

A prior poster made reference to these kids obtaining cures and going home. There isn't a cure for this condition. It is a matter of long term care and maintenance. I agree that it shouldn't be our problem to provide this.

Did you know for instance at least one of these children was invited to the US by the federal gov. to receive treatment? This administration did this and placed the burden on ICE who wasn't even aware of it.
Don't you think they should get their ducks in a row and do some communicating with others before doing things on a whim?
