I hear you. Sometimes I get angry when I think about my tax dollars paying for supplemental security income, SNAP benefits, Medicare/Medicaid, etc., for generations of white people in depressed economic areas like Appalachia.

"I'm not paying for you to eat junk food and watch Fox News all day," I say.

"I don't care that your factory closed down 50 years ago. Stop having more kids, stop playing with your free iPhone, and go get a different job. You vote like a conservative, so start acting like a conservative."

Then I pause, take a deep breath, and realize that we live in a representative democracy with a diverse population and diverse interests. Then I don't feel quite as bad that my tax dollars are going to fund people with lifestyles and viewpoints that I personally find abhorrent.

Nope, questions like that have zero to do with the topic of immigration. Until you provide proof that the care is being paid for from tax money, your questions are irrelevant and a smokescreen to get away from the fact that Trump doesn't care if these children die and those who support him clearly don't care either.

It's not at all related to the issue of whether there are Americans with difficulty accessing medical care, but then again, GOPers don't care about that either or they wouldn't have spent years trying to repeal the ACA without having anything to replace it with that would provide the healthcare they are trying to take away.

So yes, your questions are a strawman argument that doesn't address the topic of this thread, and I'm not squirming, I'm repulsed and disgusted by Americans who are fine with kids who have been receiving life saving treatment being denied that treatment, knowing they will die.

. . . you are living in a fantasy world. Per capita, whites get FAR less welfare than other races in this country.

Proof? It was already admitted. That was the premise of the OP.

You're another person who thinks that taxpayers aren't people. Well, we are, and you have no moral claim on our money. Parents need to provide for their own children rather than using the political process to enslave other people to do it for them.

How ignorant.
I'm catholic, went to catholic schools and church almost every day. We were taught to love and accept everyone as Jesus did. What's offensive is people claiming to be christian in order to hide behind their intolerance and prejudice. And these kind of people should be called out and shamed because they are not true christians.

So is it being intolerant to not want to receive millions of the worlds less fortunate, illegally.. into America without ceasing? With no end in sight? Millions pouring across a wide open, unenforced open border? Is it intolerant to think that this is not logical or sustainable? Is it intolerant for a country to want its own citizens to be looked after and assisted first, and foremost? Are all the citizens of Switzerland, Canada, Norway, and so on...all phony Christians for enforcing their borders and not taking every soul in the universe in? You should be shamed for spewing such garbage.

Sorry, I'm not ashamed for believing the religion I was taught. Why would I. We were taught by nuns and priests. Obviously you were taught something different with your religion. Maybe you should be shamed for that.
