I'm not sure you know how this works. Going through Rudy Giuliani to relay your quid pro quo demands does not insulate one from potential guilt any more than a criminal can use his ventriloquy skills to make illegal demands and then blame the puppet.
Sondland is throwing everyone into the fire. Sondland just stated that there was no irregular channel because they were all in the same channel including Giuliani. Man that statement is trouble for the administration.
He is saying Everyone knew what Trump wanted. A statement of an investigation, stated earlier that he didn’t think starting an actual investigation was necessary just the announcement.
While current evidence and multiple testimonies are not looking good for the Trump administration, it will be interesting to see how further testimony and evidence plays out and which way the verdict is ruled. This statement by Sondland definitely does not help the defense. Quite the opposite. However, regardless of the final verdict in the future, I am a bit disappointed in the way some on one particular side is acting with statements and beliefs either directly or indirectly like this:
Hearsay! Fake News! It's not illegal! No Quid Pro Quo! No Bribery! It's not that bad! They are never Trumpers! But Obama! But Clinton! The Witness is not credible because of! But the email servers! But the Dow Jones! Lib-tards! Snowflakes! Does not matter multiple witnesses testimonies all are in agreement! I never knew them! Maybe met them once or twice! Who are they? That witnesses can not be trusted because of! There is no slander of each of the witnesses so far, just the truth! Ukraine is corrupt! All president engage in this type of behavior so it is acceptable each time! Who’s the whistleblower?! MAGA! Drain the Swamp!
If you think that's what this impeachment inquiry is about, then you haven't been paying attention. But I understand. Trump asserts the same, so it stands to reason his supporters would follow suit.
I have been paying attention. The Demolibs have absolutely no candidate that can come remotely close to beating President Trump in the upcoming 2020 election, nor do they being anything to the table except for hating President Trump. So this is one of the very last cards up their sleeves in their attempt to prevent President Trump from wining another 4 years in office. Ruth's seriously failing health is also adding to the Demolib's desperation in the matter.
