If the data isn't available to determine who is legal or not, then the only option left is to cook the books and make up numbers. I'll bet the red states will mysteriously end up with fewer undocumented immigrants. Just enough to add a rep. here and there. It's almost like gerrymandering. Hmm.
To assign number of representatives for each state.
Why should those who are living here illegally, not allowed to be here, have congressional representation in our country. They are not legally allowed to vote.
Because that's what is says in the Constitution. It was originally done that way to lend more weight to slave-holding states. If you don't like that, work on passing an amendment.

Sorry, but Americans shouldn't have to pay for the care and feeding of illegal aliens or support the lawless politicians who diminish our national sovereignty.
foreign nationals who are living in the united states unlawfully have no business in the united states and their numbers should not be used to make policy. They aren't supposed to be here.
It's a good test of the GOP's willingness to choose between America and tRump.
First off, the OP is posting a lie.
Second, you are repeating it.
It is not about counting, its about allocating seats in the House of Representatives. And whether illegals get considered is an open question.
And its not about people who have lost or forged documents. Its about whether illegal aliens should determine how congressional seats are allocated. As it has typically been done, citizens in border counties in Arizona may have nearly double the representation of a citizen in Iowa.
An undocumented immigrant is someone who has immigrated from one country to another without official documentation. It seems pretty straightforward but I know some people can struggle with unfamiliar terminology. Anyway, now that you know what an "undocumented immigrant" is, perhaps you can add something useful to the discussion.
"without official documentation", is by definition... ILLEGAL.
Many of these people have no intention of going through the process of properly becoming documented either so let's not be disingenuous. Why should they when the left and the politically correct, like you, will give them cover?
I wonder if I could attend a concert or a sporting event without a ticket and having waited in line like everyone else. Hey! I'm an "undocumented concert-goer"
You DO realize, this spits in the face of the generations of immigrants who waited their turn, followed the rules and went through proper channels and the many today who ARE going through proper channels and do not have the privilege of a poorly enforced southern border to sneak across.

Exactly. Also Immigration is a Legal Process that requires Documentation. Therefore, the Media created term "Undocumented Immigrant" is not only wrong, but purposely misleading. These are not immigrants. They are Illegal Aliens that should not be here at all. They are an insult to legal immigrants.

And the Constitution told us who those persons are.
