I think Biden should have some economic advisors on his task force. Not just doctors.

Good luck with that Joe. You may go down in history as being the second President to spark a civil war.
The opinions of 1 member of a 13 person transition task force is not “ going full on dictator”. There is no universal definition of lockdown. This MD is the first to admit it. Neither he or this transition team has any authority.

States and local governments have the ability to impose restrictions and mandates.

As of right now, 34 states have issued mask mandates. Utah is the latest.

It doesn't help the discussion that right wing nuts pollute the entire dialogue with "Alinskys" and "communist takeovers".

We need adults who are not conspiracy crackpots to debate this.

I don't support any more lockdowns, I think the net negatives are worse than the virus.

I my area movie theaters opened and then some shut right down because no one was coming. That's the virus, not the government. I don't see how anyone is going to go to any of these air trampoline/bounce U/urban air places...all are going to go under, and that's a shame and I feel bad for those businesses. But that's the virus, not the government.

But we need to live. Kids needs sports and social interaction. A full year with none of those things is unthinkable and unacceptable, but if people would stop allowing big indoor parties and people would stop being stupid in bars, I think 90% of this spread would have been contained.

Calling decent Americans “right wing nuts” because you don’t agree with them also pollutes the dialogue.

MD is expressing an opinion. He is one of 13 on the transition task force with zero authority.

Decisions are left to the states.

It’s going to be an ugly winter.

There have been some people quarantined for 14 days they still have Covid for 2 to 4 more days.
6 weeks shutdown. Lol. I'm in agreement. United States will have to do Wuhan shutdown of 3 months for the virus to burn itself out.

A sad fact I just read: since November 3rd, election, 15,000 more people, nationwide, have been hospitalized with COVID 19.

We should have had a better handle on this pandemic. It is sad that wearing a mask helps to keep transmissions down, but a good percentage of the population refuses to wear a mask, citing civil liberties.

A reminder: when hospitals run out of beds, those that suffer heart attacks, strokes, or even a broken limb, are out of luck.

I predict that Governor Abbott will re institute a partial shutdown the week after Thanksgiving.

Unfortunately, the media assault against Trump brainwashed them.

You people who voted against Trump's personality feeling good about yourselves yet?
I`m feeling good for the whole world. You see, it`s not just about ME. I voted against a guy who was caught trying to rig the election in Ukraine, was fined for robbing his own charity, withdrew from the Iran agreement that was signed by other counties that are much closer to Iran than we are, a guy who had to refund money to 4,000 people who were robbed at his bogus university, a guy who had $130,000 to give to a porn **** but only $750 to the country that protects him, a man who uses the presidency for his own personal gain and the man who tried to obstruct justice multiple times. Need more reasons for getting rid of this shyster? I got them.
