And like the article states, in a survey, less than half the people said they would comply. That right there means any length of lockdown won't work. It would have to be 100 % compliant, which would destroy what is left of our economy or nothing.

The article about the opinion of one employee of Deutsche Bank specifically excludes those who are mandated to work from home because of a government directive.
I think Biden should have some economic advisors on his task force. Not just doctors.
Exactly! It’s wrong to focus completely on the virus and ignore everything else. Lockdowns have led to increased deaths from other causes. Suicides, homicides, drug overdoes, increased heart attacks and strokes due to people delaying medical care. We cannot continue down this road.

Well our current state policies are not working, this economy isn't going anywhere with the current trajectory heading towards 200,000 new cases and 2,000 deaths per day. Biden and Osterholm are making recommendations, as it has been from the beginning it's up to the states to place restrictions, we never had very severe restrictions compared to other countries.
We have hospital overflowing in many areas, I see in North Dakota they are asking nurses that test positive to keep working and in Texas they are adding portable freezers.
So if increased restrictions are not the answer what do you propose. Besides, who is going out to eat or to a movie theatre or gym in these hot spots.
The State of Victoria and more importantly its largest city Melbourne had strict lockdown measures. Also one needs to remember that the seasons are reversed in the Southern Hemisphere and the temperatures might be factor in the spread of COVID19. One can't really compare the USA and Australia in terms of population.
We have 12 times the population of Australia and we have 230,000 Covid deaths while Australia has only 907. One really CAN compare the USA with Australia with a little bit of arithmetic. The seasons play no role in a discrepancy this huge. They accepted the lockdown while we have millions of people claiming they have a right to spread a deadly virus. We`re being mocked or pitied by the rest of the human race.
The fact they think this will actually work once you’re into late January and early February and people have gotten and are getting the vaccine is laughable. The more and more people who get it the more people will refuse to obey any lockdowns

Well when the US becomes an island with no borders with any other nation and only a handful of multinational corporations.
Western Europe is just as bad and much of Latin America is worse. You need to look at real numbers and not get your thoughts from MSM.
And we would be much better if the Democratic governors of New York and New Jersey hadn't murdered so many nursing home residents early in the pandemic. Both states have death rates far higher than Peru and Belgium, the 2 worst nations in the world.
And they will be disposed of in the end. That's how demented subversives roll.
And they are too brainwashed to realize it.
