Who knew all it takes for the NWO was the RELEASE of a virus.

Crazy times we're living in.

I have empathy as well. For those who have died and for those who have long term effects. My empathy also goes to the small business owners struggling to stay afloat as well as the many people who lost their jobs and are at risk of losing their housing. I’m empathetic to those struggling with ever increasing food insecurity and those struggling with depression and anxiety exasperated by the restrictions and lockdowns. I feel those who are struggling with drug and alcohol abuse and don’t find online support meetings to be useful. My concern extends to those who have been told that they must wait for medical care due to people being turned away from hospitals because of covid and who later die from heart attacks and strokes, two things that increased during the lockdown. I’m concerned that the homicides rate greatly increased due to our response to covid. Lots of empathy here. We need a balanced approach to address all of these issue. A lockdown is not the answer.

Many, like myself, are simply going to wait this out before we start major home improvement projects - who wants the possibility of infected people working in their homes? The "destruction" of the economy is on Trump for his failure to address this early on. Hopefully we will not enter a situation like we did where I live in 1918 where so many people were sick, they could not dig graves, prisoners had to work on farms, farm workers were so sick, and phone exchanges had to close. Now we don't have PBX operators anymore, but with over 100,000 new cases a day, who knows when the ability to get a repair person out will be affected?

To blame lockdowns on democrats is ignoring the reality of the situation. In many respects VA and MD have been working in tandem, yet MD with its GOP governor has had more restricts and greater fines than VA. We never shut down our big box stores, small businesses were allowed to stay open with the exception of those which involve close contact such as spas or food handling. Only a handful of bars and restaurants were closed due to repeated warnings of violations.
The survival rate of COVID 19 is currently greater than 99%.

Anyone -- ANYONE -- calling Biden the "president-elect" is LYING and DECEITFUL. It's not true.

Because the election has yet to be decided.
What world are you living in? Wake up!!

Better yet, don't try playing dictator. You think the US Military are going to enforce lockdowns? What about the local PD? This would cause a total uprising if they tried it. You'd have the military turn against the elites... boy would I get a joy out of that one... take down the top .01%.

Bottom line this simply isn't feasible. Liberals have no idea how the supply chain works or how products are made... in their little fantasy world they just appear on store shelves or at their door. We rely on dozens of suppliers to make our products... if just a few of them shut down, we shut down. Where are you going to get your medical supplies then?

It probably has more to do with this... the world economic forum's "great reset."

Hmm that’s exactly what they think they will try to use the military while they are trying to defund them. Democrats need help.

My guess is that the virus will circulate yearly like H1N1 is still with us from the 2009 pandemic. The flu vaccine has H1N1 as part of it's yearly strain in the vaccine.

Corona viruses are part of the viruses that circulate and cause the common cold yearly. I don't see Covid just magically disappearing, and herd immunity? Much better achieved through a vaccine. Covid is mutating like all viruses do. One strain is more highly contagious and less deadly as the original Wuhan strain, but that strain is still among us. Which one will you get? That's the luck of the draw.

Part of Biden's plan is to increase testing and quarantine those infected. He has a difficult road ahead with the virus out of control. The college kids in my life have to have a negative Covid result to be in the classroom, and they are tested weekly. Instituting that kind of protocol (which is working by the way) requires the right expertise. I'm glad to see Ron Klain back in the picture. He was Trump's ebola czar and set up the pandemic response office that got destroyed. Hopefully, we will be ready like Taiwan was when the next pandemic circulates, which it will.

We don't have to shut down the entire USA. Just the hot spots. It's out of control here, yet, when we go the Home Depot or other stores for supplies for the rental, there are people every where. We wear N95 masks with a surgical mask over that and gloves. I've taught my husband proper sterile technique and we always have hand sanitizer with us. Those big box stores are thriving and some supplies are hard to get. Yes the restaurants and bars are suffering, but that's only part of the equation. We still do carry out a couple of times a week. Culver's will survive, some of the smaller places? Probably not.

We can adapt, we can wear masks, and we can support our restaurants by doing carry out. We have to at this late stage of the botched response.

Seems you put a lot of faith in science, science that changes its mind about things all the time. Science that is influence by big corp, big government, and special interests. Science that is run by infallible humans with their own biases and mistakes.

How well does the flu vaccine work out for you? Me personally, I still get a very bad case of flu even if I get the vaccine. Will covid be the same way? I suspect to some extent yes. Slow heard immunity is the only way to go. Even then, covid might just be a part of our lives going forward.

There’s a famous quote from one of the founding fathers (that I cannot now locate) that warns that America will be destroyed not by foreign enemies but from the enemies within. We are seeing it happen before our eyes.
Yes, Trump is destroying America.

You are sorely mistaken. You have been conditioned to believe DC is going to step in and bail you out when in fact their plan is to bring you to your knees and force their solutions on you. Many may get a token amount - and many will not.

Once the lockup is over there will not be jobs to go back to for many. The shortsightedness of some Biden voters is going to come back and bite them in the as#.

We should have had a better handle on this pandemic. It is sad that wearing a mask helps to keep transmissions down, but a good percentage of the population refuses to wear a mask, citing civil liberties.

A reminder: when hospitals run out of beds, those that suffer heart attacks, strokes, or even a broken limb, are out of luck.

I predict that Governor Abbott will re institute a partial shutdown the week after Thanksgiving.
As of right now, 34 states have issued mask mandates. Utah is the latest.

Given the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and the likelihood that millions will gather, likely means unprecedented surges in hospitalizations likely will occur around Christmas, a full month before inauguration.

There is no question state and local governments are very, very concerned about the likelihood hospitals will be over run.

ND announced that due to major shortage of healthcare staffing, the state has a sever shortage of available beds. Hospitals are implementing Surge Plans and are increasingly stopping elective surgeries and other procedures. Instead of the state putting a kibosh on elective surgeries, it leaves it up to each overwhelmed hospital to do so., like a hospital has a real choice in the matter when it is at capacity.

The state has also authorized asymptomatic positive healthcare staff to work in hospitals, limited to Covid positive patients. It is up to the hospital to allow or not.

There is extreme uncertainty this approach will be successful given hospital healthcare staffing is not a fungible mass.

There is no question, governors will be taking drastic actions to attempt to mitigate the impacts on hospitals.
