Not wanting to play the national anthem before a sporting event is not wanting to "fundamentally change" anything, other than pregame activity.

Supporting the community is patriotic. Singing to a piece of fabric is not.

I'm so sick and tired or people not having any respect for this county. People no longer respect the National Anthem, statues, our history and it's people. It's all being torn apart as if it never happened. It's heartbreaking.

We have a corrupt president that cares more for Mexicans and the people of China than us here in this country.

And to see all the dems be ok with tearing cities down and all the crime and burning and calling it Peaceful Protest. That's BS. Hypocrites.

Might as well change the name of our country while they are at it. Let's just cancel it also. It's no longer the United States as we are no longer united. Let's just call it a combination of a lot of countries since we're now allowing all in and we're now a combination of a lot of countries. Let's give it a new name since we're making all these changes. Let's ask the Guatemalan people and Mexicans what they suggest we call this country now.

Biden is taking "land of the free" to a new level for those illegals.

Super Bowl had the lowest audience in years. IMO people are fed up with professional athletes making big bucks (and celebrities) pushing their views and in many cases anti-patriotism on fans.

Honestly that doesn't mean anything anymore because they had record streams. Even personally I use Roku for a bunch of services and I don't get CBS so I had to stream to watch the game

"Singing to a piece of fabric"?
Wow, if that is what you think, you might be more lost than I imagined.

I am talking about modern times, not going back to the days of XYZ.
The difference is we can make some adjustments within the confines of our constitutional republic, without fundamentally changing our society.
A fundamental change would be going from capitalism to socialism/communism. Or it would be making the sins of the father, be held against the children.
Or federalizing local and state police departments.

Lets face it, blacks today have as much rights as whites, maybe even more so. There are still special programs and preferences given to blacks that not only give them an advantage, but actually discriminate against others such as yellows and whites.
But blacks, like people of every stripe, should be thankful to live in our country, as I cannot imagine anyplace else that offers so much as America.

Well we are shredding the 1st Amendment here lately. We could merge with China in the name of Globalism and close to half wouldnt even notice. It always seemed weird reading about Germany going Nazi in history, like how did that ever happen.. its happening.

Way too many people all cozy with the govt thinking and spending their money for them. Its how Fauci has gotten away handling this pandemic.

Seems like Mark wants it both ways.

He says the right things publicly to kowtow to the 'woke' movement, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did this just to prevent morons from kneeling and grandstanding over the National Anthem in the future (few years ago when this kneeling nonsense started in earnest, I believe Mark actually voiced support for players standing before the Anthem with hands over their hearts).

Well played, Mark.

Your father obviously loved this country enough to serve, and YOU decide that his coffin should not have a flag?
Actually no he's decided. Yeah he served his county and they turned around and kicked him in the teeth.

And sorry just because I can off the "plantation" to use your words does not mean I have to bow down to a phoney flag

I am successful not because of this country BUT in spite of it

So you think the opposite of Obama and his "you didn't build it" rubbish then?
