How little we spoiled Americans know about human history and the rest of the world
I will agree with you on that. Maybe it's one of those things where you have to experience some place else.

But again the problem isn't only that we are spoiled. This country HAS never ever carried out the things it stands for. We can't really criticize other countries.
Now I don't profess a knowledge of human history BUT I do know American history.

So we created this situation and now get mad because many of its people no longer have "respect"

A bit hypercritical dontcha think

I will say that saying "well at least we're not as bad as North Korea" is setting the bar low

Good!

NBA isn't fully dumb, regardless of how people feel, they know their product is already affected and they don't want to push anymore people away. I believe the NBA Finals this past season had the lowest ratings ever? Or at least in many years I think. They are trying to save themselves.

Probably didn’t notice, because they may be like me and don’t pay attention to anything he does since he has always pandered to the so-called woke crowd, whatever he does is no surprise.

NBA ratings for their current season has followed the downward trend as well.

I don't know that I would classify the things you mentioned as patriotic. Someone could do all those things and still not have strong devotion to and vigorous support for our country.
Keep in mind that while all nations have their pluses and minuses, most people who genuinely love this country, do not want to "fundamentally change it".

The best example I can think of which seems to help the light bulb go off above naysayers heads, is to ask if someone said they loved you and wanted to make a life with you, but also said they wanted to fundamentally change you, how you would interpret that?

So, it's the anthem continues because it is the tradition of the NBA. I guess that is a good decision. I'm just wondering, what kind of decision: a financial decision, for unity, or, for stability...
