So they should have made Bagram, not Kabul, the final airport?
Someone should inform the generals of Rocko's brilliant military strategies, evidently. I'm sure they'd be grateful for your insight.
A
You think Rocko is the only or first one to have come up with that?
If Biden was admitting to hindsight, even he would agree.
Unless......................
This is what I wonder about. The minute this deal took place, people should have started leaving. The only ones that should have been there by now are those under either direct or indirect (like a contractor) authority of the US gov.
You could also clearly see the Afghan army was suffering huge losses all these months, losing large amounts of territory without even a fight.
Pretty amazing that we only had 2,500 troops but over 10,000 American citizens were still there on August 1 and we didn't even know the location. All these loses beginning last year and these people chose to remain, it will be interesting to see the reasons and job functions that kept them in Afghanistan.

You honestly think a President, any President, actually makes those sorts of decisions?
That makes complete sense. We've only been at this a week. Total evacuation in two weeks if we adhere to 8/31. Biden will say no intelligence foresaw this, thus the late start. I contend no one wanted to hear the truth. Total blind spot, colored by prejudices. Andrea Mitchell said tonight Biden has been harboring a grudge since his advice on earlier surge was ignored.
I predict they'll lie and say they got everyone out. 'Not a single life was spared.' And that will be total BS that the brainwashed will repeat here.

I applaud those two for taking matters into their own hands. Biden is flat out lying to us.
I thought the same. A mission from two Vets who aren't making this partisan. Nancy and the Pentagon and others are not happy.

Granted, no one thought Kabul would fall in 11 days, but Biden is still an idiot for evacuating the troops and closing Bagram before evacuating even 1 civilian.
The CIA and others knew it was going to be quick though, so he should have accounted for that. He was apprised of all of this and had been warned for months. Why would he ignore them? Hmmm....

I've said a few times I wondered if this was intentional and floated the notion that the Chinese paid him to handle it this way.
He pimped his drug-addled son out to fetch him money, I don't for a minute think he wouldn't stab every American in the back for more dough.

And just think how they will play out. Biden will lie and say they rescued everyone, and then the Taliban will broadcast a beheading to show the world how they brought the Great Satan to its knees (courtesy of a weak and brain-damaged president).

Again with this. For many of these people, it was their job to be their , supporting the military. Doesn't anyone realize the infrastructure that is required to keep something like that going ? I'm sure the majority of them worked for the CIA or other alphabet agencies.
I find it shameful that there are those that are trying to spin this like these individuals just decided to hang out in a dangerous military zone for the fun of it.
