They pay child support for 18+ years. Child support payments are court-ordered throughout the US every court day.
So you are saying that all women who are separated from the father of their children receive child support, right?
Quote:
. A U.S. Census report estimates that just 43.5 percent of custodial parents get the full amount of support they're entitled to. And more than 30 percent don't receive anything at all. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/10-bill...-to-estimates/
How you keep misinterpreting data. That last link was a completely different from your original.
No, it's the detailed info that was cited in my original. You claimed Guttmacher didn't say it but they did right there in Figure 1.3. Women who use contraception correctly and consistently account for only 5% of all unintended pregnancies.
95% of all US abortions are due to unintended pregnancies. That should be easy to understand as the overwhelming majority of women who wanted to get pregnant don't abort.
Now that we have the actual facts, let's compare the data presented in the two pie charts...
Doing the math, the FACTS are that:
1) Women who use contraception correctly and consistently account for only 5% of all unintended pregnancies.
2) Women who use contraception incorrectly/inconsistently have a 31.2 times higher chance of getting pregnant than the women who use contraception correctly and consistently.
3) Women who use no contraception at all have a 52.8 times higher chance of getting pregnant.
So... given... a girl/woman who doesn't want to get pregnant... Guess which is the best course of action for her to take?
"What this means, in practice, is that women are at highest risk of unintended pregnancy if they fail to use contraceptives at all, but are still at considerable risk if they use them improperly. Indeed, 95% of unintended pregnancies each year occur among women who use contraceptives inconsistently or not at all, and only 5% occur among the two-thirds of women who consistently and correctly practice contraception all year (Figure 1.3, page 8)."
There you go putting it on women. Perhaps men should be more selective in choosing their unprotected sex partners and take responsibility for their own reproduction. Men that get a woman pregnant are just as "guilty" as the woman. It takes two. Dont depend on the other person to be responsible for your reproduction.
Bingo…the woman could say “no” if the man chooses not to use birth control, and the woman isn’t going to use birth control themselves. Just say no. It’s really that simple.

They're supposed to if ordered by the court. If the father can't pay because he has no income, WHY did the woman have unprotected sex with a man who can't support his own kids? What did she think was going to happen when she VOLUNTARILY CHOSE to have unprotected sex given the known 2 million years history of human reproduction?

Im done going back and forth with you. I read the studies both, the first you linked, then when that didnt support what you were saying, the second, and when that didnt support what you were saying the third. I read the studies, not just looked at a picture.
For anyone who wants to see what Informed cant comprehend actually read the entire study dont just look at a pie chart.

I quoted AND linked the study. Here it is again:

The man should say no as well. Especially if he’s against abortion. He should be more discreet. Mind his sperm. Know if the woman would abort or not any pregnancy resulting in their union. Just say no men. It’s really that simple.

Yep, and the woman should also say “no”. After all she’s the one that gets pregnant. “Just say no”. It’s so simple.
Perhaps consequences of abortion laws will wise these folks up to be more responsible.
Is that why your response is .... bu bu but CAN THEY GET AN ABORTION?
And not... WOW what a LOW rate for abortion. Maybe if other women were as responsible, the number of babies killed would decrease. And that would be GOOD for EVERYONE!!!!!
But no. It's just. "But they can get abortions too, right??? Because the more babies we kill the better off everyone is!!!!!
Just so sick and demented as a worldview. The only point that matters is: Can we kill that baby, too?
That worldview you just described is only in your head. Sometimes I think you make up scenarios so you will have something to be outraged about.

What? Actually read the study. Being actually informed?
