Yes, five - my most loaded semester ever was six classes. Both semesters were a total of 16 units. I'm doing only three units/one class this summer, then two more 13-unit semesters and I'm done.

Ruh-roh, Shaggy, let's make like a banana and SPLIT.
Just curious are you working as well? That would make school and life super difficult. 50 hours some weeks at work then to come home and try to work on a project is the worst.

Kickin' it on Memorial Day.

Thank you to all the veterans who sacrificed their lives for us. What would we do without you.

I also work but only part time. I also parent my two kids solo, and care for my parents as well - both were hospitalized late last year and dad had open heart. Needless to say, no time for dating right now.

We got a wine/food basket today as a thank-you gift. Is it just me or does the fruit-and-nut mix from "Pudfield Farms" sound less than appetizing?

It all depends - some folks would delight in a field of puds. I knew a girl in high school....

Well, got some really good news from this weekend. My mother’s health has improved to the point that she has been taken off nearly all the medications she was on last year. She thought she was going to have to retire soon because of her health but she is now planning to work 3 or 4 more years.

Since her health is better, I don’t really need to move that close to her since she does not need much care. I’m still likely going to look elsewhere after summer and my Masters is in the books. I’m now looking at Houston and maybe Jacksonville if my visit goes well in a couple of weeks. Louisville is still a possibility but less likely.
