I should get one.

When I went for a COVID test a couple of weeks ago, my oxygen level was 99. As a former smoker, I was happy to see that.

Ohio (where my brother-in-law is) is having their hospitals filling up with COVID patients again. In the rural areas, they are back to where they were a year ago with cases. Where my relatives are, the county is still under 50% getting even the first vaccination shot. That is even a bit worse than where I am in Tennessee. and I thought we were bad about vaccinations here.

And so this drags on

I judge how bad the situation is by how many NFL players are banned from the facility due to testing positive. There are several on every team I follow, and the poor Browns have 8 guys who can't play this week. The impact is close to what it was when the virus first hit.

They are large men who have chosen to make a living crashing into other large men. You are expecting good sense in OTHER health choices?

This reminded me to check on the oximeter someone sent me quite a while ago. Here at 7,000 feet in altitude, I was 92%. Does altitude matter? I do use CPAP absolutely and think I should have been higher.

So you're calling them stupid? Because it's child's play to keep from getting infected.

Not in so many words. It was a joke. The person who sent me an LOL rep understood that.

It's also child's play to crash into other people, yet big adult men do it to earn a living, as I pointed out. Perhaps it has something to do with being risk-takers to begin with. Somebody who doesn't mind taking a chance on a permanent brain or joint injury might not worry about a virus, either. Just a thought.

You would have to ask the specific people why they didn't modify their behavior to keep from being infected. I don't know any of them personally.
