Someone eventually will bag a squatch (not that it hasn't already happened) and they will ignore pay-offs & threats by powers-that-be and go public with their trophy, parade it all over the country/science community/the world......what do y'all think will happen then? Will this create protections for Bigfoot? A free-for-all hunt? Projections???
I don't think the U.S. Govt is quite as freaked-out by the implications and follow-up of existence of a platypus or coelacanth might have on John Q. Public....

I something think that in this forum, it's government conspiracies all the way down.
I don't know if it's govt conspiracies or not, obviously. But it's certainly possible. Do you have evidence to prove it's not?
Look....I totally *get* the need for scientific "body" proof, yada yada....I would believe beyond doubt with it, too, but would hate to think the critter died just to satisfy human curiosity. I'm not totally pro either way, but definitely lean away from killing BF to prove it exists. I'm just willing to keep my mind open to possibilities. And thus far, as skeptical as I am about no hardcore pathologic proof, I'm also just as skeptical how so many people could be having the same fantasy/nightmare/experience....especially people who want no recognition or fame for telling their story, they are just warning others. What do you s'pose makes them tick??? They KNOW they are going to be ridiculed endlessly.......
My theory is that Bigfoot is an Ancient Alien who was left behind after helping build the pyramids, and his people only left him with a small electronic device that allows him to detect and avoid trap cameras.
