Game starts in under 30 minutes.

Judge in his 54th in a Yankee win, so the Astros need to win to maintain their 6 game lead over the Yankees for HFA in the American league.

Well, guess what, y'all? Houston is back at .500 in overall franchise history with last night's win. Astros/Colt .45s are 4,812 - 4,812 all time. That record is the best of the teams who were part of the Expansion Era in baseball.

9/9

Astros win 4-3 .

Trout hits a home run (33rd) in his fifth straight game.

This ties the Angels team record for number of games straight with a home run previously held alone by……someone you don’t usually think of as an Angel…..Bobby Bonds (father of Barry) in 1977.

The Yankees lost, so the Astros are now 6 1/2 games up on the Yanks for HFA.

The Braves are leading the Mariners in the 6th, so the Astros may add another 1/2 game there to their lead in the division.

Go Mariners. They are no threat to catch us. On the other hand, we are only two games up on the Braves. Not that having home field helped us last year.

Ford or Sparks mentioned during tonight’s (9/10’s) Astros game, which is still being played, that the Braves are 64-24 in their last 88 games .

9/11…….Astro hit 5 HRs, including a slam by Bergman that put the Astros ahead, and won 12-4.

Needed, as the Yankees also had a high scoring win.

The Braves also lost, to help put more distance between them and Astros ‘HFA re a potential World Series’ wise.

Would have been better if the Mets had lost as well.

9/12……Framber pitches his first shutout and ties deGrom’s 2018 record with a 24th consecutive quality start in a season

Astros win 7-0.

Yankees are idle, so the Astros gain a half a game re HFA.

He's looking better all the time and gaining more confidence. This must carry over into the playoffs. As long as he doesn't give up two grand slams against his opposition, he should do just fine.

And hunter Brown is looking good...his second start also a quality start and the Astros win 6-3

Yankees tied 4-4 in the 8th....Judge has 2 HRs in that game..56 and 57.

Mets ate losing 4-0 to the cubs in the 8th.

Mariners and Braves games both just started...no score in either.

After all 9/13 games......

Yankees won that game 7-6 in 10, so the Astros win just keeps them up the same 6 games for AL HFA.

The Mets lost their game, so the Astros gained on them for potential overall HFA (if they met in the WS), up 3 1/2 games.

The Braves won their game, so the Astros stayed up 4 games on them for potential overall HFA (If they met in the WS).

The Dodgers won, staying 6 1/2 games ahead of the Astros for overall HFA (and winning the NL West).

The Mariners lost, which I think makes the magic number 8 for the Astros for the division.
