The scenarios are different. The Heat lost the first 2 on the road in 2006, in other words the Mavs did what they were supposed to; win on their home court. The Lakers have lost their homecourt, at this stage they have to win 'on the road' because Dallas have 3 of the last 5 games at home. This is an even deeper climb for the Lakers than what the Heat had to do back in 2006.
Heh, since this thread has taken a turn into "make believe land" involving the 2006 Mavericks.....how many pts do you think Shaq is going to score against Dallas in game 3?
Will Rick Fox have a big game?
Do you think Michael Jackson will attend the game?
there is pressure on them, but they should be feeling confident as well going home. The Lakers will have more pressure as the game goes on, because if they lose tonight, its done.....

Since the Mavs have a history of choking in the playoffs I think the pressure is on the Mavs
Those choking Maverick teams are a thing of the past. This current Mavs team is solid, gritty, tough and defensive minded. Very different than previous Dallas teams. The LAL on the other hand are the new chokers. Dropping the first two homes games of a critical series. Ridiculous.
