I'm fed up with our security apparatus making these stupid decisions. With the RCMP's known sexual harassment and operational incompetence resulting in these kinds of things constantly happening why do we continue to place such trust in them and CSIS.

One of the problems is that making death threats online, particularly anonymously, is far less likely to lead to negative consequences than if the threats were made in person. The Las Vegas victim I quoted, for example, lives in B.C.while those making the threats are probably in multiple legal jurisdictions in the U.S.
The nutcases have always been out there. The internet has just radicalized them more and given them a louder voice.
