I'm fed up with our security apparatus making these stupid decisions. With the RCMP's known sexual harassment and operational incompetence resulting in these kinds of things constantly happening why do we continue to place such trust in them and CSIS.
Here we go again is right!

I'm worried we'll run out of cash if a lot more of these torture victims
start coming out of the woodwork.

Trudeau is adamant that the Federal Government doesn't pay ransom
to terrorists (and they tend to sonetime torture their captives, and Canadian have been killed
but have no problem paying out big to Canadian tortured in OTHER countries.

This is sick: Online conspiracy theorists harass Vegas victims

Quote:
The 30-year-old victim – who narrowly escaped death in the worst mass shooting in modern US history – has faced a torrent of online abuse and harassment, forcing him to shut down his social media accounts and disappear from the internet. The bullying, taunting and graphic threats have also spread to his family and friends.

Something has gone terribly wrong in todays America as the moral fabric of their society seems to be collapsing.

One of the problems is that making death threats online, particularly anonymously, is far less likely to lead to negative consequences than if the threats were made in person. The Las Vegas victim I quoted, for example, lives in B.C.while those making the threats are probably in multiple legal jurisdictions in the U.S.

The nutcases have always been out there. The internet has just radicalized them more and given them a louder voice.

Divisive language and policies from President Donald Trump are helping push business travelers north of the border, the head of Marriott International Inc. said on Wednesday.

Large groups of travelers, particularly for conferences, are changing reservations to friendlier cities such as Toronto over U.S. options “with the view that bringing in an international group would be more hassle-free in Canada and maybe a little bit riskier in the U.S.,” Chief Executive Officer Arne Sorenson said in an interview in Toronto.
