I saw dozens of celebrities when we lived in manhattan and never acknowledged any of them except for jane pauley. I only had enough courage to say something to her when I was halfway down the street from her and walking my dog. I yelled at her, "I love you, Jane." she turned around to face me, gave me a huge smile and said, "awwww". this was around 2006, well after she was working on TV. she was one of my idols decades ago and a professional woman I still admire very much. now she is a host again on Sunday mornings. Many new people are learning to love her!

My husband works in TV so whenever big names go through his studio, I try and stop by for a visit.
Here are the ones that I've met:
NICEST
1. Mark Wahlberg
2. Joe Pesci
3. Colin Firth
4. Ben Affleck
5. Gary Oldman
*These actors were so incredibly nice and easy to talk to.
RUDEST
1. Tom Hanks
2. Natalie Portman
3. Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt (I saw them back in Jan. of 2012 when they were still together).
4. Samuel L. Jackson
*I don't know what the deal is w/ these rude celebs but they had major attitudes. Really don't care to see any of their movies now.
Hi !
Could you tell me more about Colin Firth ? I'm totally smitten with him since i watched A single man two weeks ago. He seems to be such a nice man.
I've said it before, I'll say it again... I had a beer with Willie Nelson once. Nice guy.
I delivered Room Service to Wayne Newton, and his body-guard opened the door, but Wayne came to the door and shook my hand and tipped pretty well. I couldn't have cared less about Wayne Newton, but that was pretty nice of him, I guess.
Darren McGavin and the guy who played "John-Boy" were both cool when I met them in LA.
Terry Gilliam went out of his way to give me a personal drawing and talk with me at a pre-screening (that never happened) of Brazil.
I met James Woods while assisting his niece with her financial aid at Salve Regina University. Extremely nice and very funny and all the while making sure the attention stayed on his niece. Several months later ran into him at a local Stop & Shop and he said hello and to my surprise remembered my name. A very nice guy...even if he is a Trump supporter.
LOL great question! Way back in the mid 70s I was at a baseball game at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma WA and I was in the 6th grade. Right behind us was a upstart actor named Kurt Russell. We all recognized him, turned around and said "Hi Kurt how are you." He snapped back, "you little f___ers turn around and leave me alone." Ya that was really rude!
I still like him as an actor and it's the most famous person I've ever seen randomly. But still definitely rude LOL.

huh.. that was rude. But.. by the mid 70s, he was a well established actor. I watched him in many things and was pretty familiar with him as an actor in the 60s. But he did have a bit of a hump in my opinion in that segue from child actor into more adult roles, but he did it.

The Backstreet Boys were kind of jerks but I attribute that to being young and famous more than anything else.
I honestly don't know how the artists and their crew can do live concerts night after night. Setting up and tearing down a big show is a tremendous amount of work
Oh no !!! I so have a crush on Nick Carter...I'm hoping to see them in concert this summer. How were they jerks ???

Not surprised to hear that Willie is a cool guy. Talk about a legend -- living the dream, on the road again making music with his friends, downing a beer and smoking a J perhaps. Nothing not to like about Willie.
