Fear tactics only work on weak minds ... Please don't bother us with such vain similitudes. So why are you so aggresive with "Now is the day"

It very much reminds me of this parable

The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant

21Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?"

22Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.[f]
23"Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand talents[g] was brought to him. 25Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.
26"The servant fell on his knees before him. 'Be patient with me,' he begged, 'and I will pay back everything.' 27The servant's master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.
28"But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii.[h] He grabbed him and began to choke him. 'Pay back what you owe me!' he demanded.
29"His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, 'Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.'
30"But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt. 31When the other servants saw what had happened, they were greatly distressed and went and told their master everything that had happened. 32"Then the master called the servant in. 'You wicked servant,' he said, 'I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. 33Shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?' 34In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.
So what is IT you are asking? Spit it out! That you can go on sinning over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over ( stop me when I get to seventy) and over and over and over and over and over and over................you get the picture?

And what, He is "Jolly Old Jesus" to forgive you and forgive and forgive you and forgive you and forgive you........

At no time does'nt He KNOW the contents of your heart? He's not "smart" enough to know that your are not truly repentant? He does'nt know this?

Remember, He's "Jolly Jesus", does He not give you the desires of your heart? So if your desire is to sin continuosly, well there you go! You can't have it both ways! Sorry!

There is a consequence, no FEEL GOOD STORY HERE!

PS: Don't confuse compassion with aggressiveness.

So you have to DO SOMETHING..........REPENT!!

If we can't be obedient in this life, how are we going to be in the next? Who's gonna make us? God? Then why not make us that way from the "Beginning"?

There is a prerequisite to obtaining everlasting life, that you believe on JESUS CHRIST now! No short cuts! NONE! Would'nt that make Him unfair? That some believe now on Him and other's "skate through"? No! No! No!

He is fair and just, not some of the time, ALL OF THE TIME! He's God, remember? I trust him to dole out the correct form of JUSTICE FOR ALL OF US!!

How are we obedient in this life, Betsey Lane? God has all power, even beyond the grave. There will come a time when God will be all in all. God bless.

You know very well i am not saying anything remotely close to that . What i am saying is it seems you have forgetten where you were and what you was like prior to you believing in His salvation , this is my conclusion from reading many of your posts.

Was you threatened with Hell fire before believing and if you was did this make you come to a decision for Christ ?.
My observation would say you did. or you have forgotten what such grace and mercy was shown to you.
