This attitude misses the entire point of why Jesus died. Do you believe in once-saved-always-saved like Mike and many others do? You could say the very same thing about that. If OSAS is true, once you are going to heaven, Jesus isn't necessary anymore.
I don't believe in OSAS, but that is for another thread.
And I didn't ask whether how you "feel" has any bearing. I asked if you love those "many" who you see as being eternally tormented, eternally useless, etc.
And I told you that it is irrelevent as to whether or not it has any bearing on the existence of hell. The question is designed to appeal to subjective emotionalism which is what universalists prefer rather than the objective truth of the word of God.
If only ONE person was going to believe, He still would have given up His life.
That's a little catch phrase somebody made up, that makes self-centered people even more self-centered. That's nowhere in the bible. If I'm wrong, quote the verse, please. I guess it's next to the one that says our picture is on His refrigerator.

Reason: I know what you meant, but he doesn't :))

I wasn't sure whether you believed that, or that we are responsible for our own salvation. Jesus' sacrifice isn't necessary if we can save ourselves by keeping our salvation, so I don't know why you think Jesus assuring everyone's salvation makes Him unnecessary.
I agree!!! Jesus believed in eternal hell, that's why He gave up His life on the cross in a horrible death if UR was true, that would have not been necessary.
So, freeing all mankind from death and sin isn't grand enough? I'm glad God didn't feel that way.

Complete nonsense. What part of Him paying the price for EVERYONE can't you grasp? It isn't really all that hard.In fact,He would have had to pay it for everyone at that time, since He was only crucified once.He is not recrucified each time someone else accepts Him,now is He?So then, what UR's are saying is that His sacrifice applies to everyone without them having to ask, while in your theology the price has already been paid for everyone, but they must ask for the gift or it goes to waste.
