Don't get me wrong, New York has it's share of radio rap too, but New York is where hip-hop was created. There would be no Atlanta rap scene if it wasn't for the Bronx.
BoB reps decatur GA, I-20 is underground how did he fall off? Yeah Young Dro Young_Dro:Rubber_Band_Banks, believe me their's alot more artists I could be naming, And what's with the New York thing I never Atlanta started hiphop, or Atlanta has more lyrical rappers than New York, I was responding to how you erase or ignore Atlanta hiphop history and turn snap music something that never dominate Atlanta and that's less than 5 years old into Atlanta niche or sound.

For what? to hear that they're complete opposites with completely different histories, col's, locations, densities, demographics, metro populations, appeals etc? Were you that unaware? The comparison would be so out of whack that I'd imagine the thread to be closed in a matter of minutes. If I could, I'd laugh in the OP's face for making such a thread.

Now tell me this- What's so bizarre about comparing ATL to Charlotte?- Instead of asking me to elaborate obviousness, take a second and be realistic.
I was not referring to NYC obviously.DUH.What city would measure up?I was referring to Charlotte. But of course you have no answer as to how they(Charlotte and Atlanta) could possibly more alike,so you focused on NYC.In which case is a great city that I hope Atlanta never gets to be like.Only certain elements of it.

Miami? hmmm I see more Nova than Miami for Atlanta

LA? I see more Dallas or Houston than Atlanta

I actually think Atlanta is somewhat unique, esp against Hosuton and Dallas, which for the most part seen far too similar

But do see more Charlotte than LA, Dal, Hosuton, or Miami, Charlotte lacks some of the older parts, though a bit subdued in more modern Atlanta

I'll admit that I misunderstood what you were asking- but you still questioned me, taking it out of context. Out of all the possibilities (from what the OP mentioned), what is the most logical comparison.

ATL vs NYC
ATL vs Chicago
ATL vs San Francisco
ATL vs Houston
ATL vs Charlotte

What is so bad with thinking ATL is more on a level with Charlotte than any of the above? (Houston is an exception)

The 2 Top are out of the question, San Francisco and Houston it depends on what your taking about it can go either way depending of the subject. Comparing Charlotte to Atlanta is like comparing Sacramento to San Francisco or Austin to Houston. In fact to answer you earlier question Atlanta would be in the midde between LA's tire and Charlotte's tire.

And also Houston is not a Southeast city you said that on another page.
