Tomorrow #1 CSU Pueblo travels to Western State in Gunnison Colorado. The city of Gunnison has about 5,854 residents so more people attend the games at CSU Pueblo then live in the entire city!
I prerdict a win by Pueblo giving them a number 1 ranking in the national polls going into the playoffs and, more importantly, a number 1 ranking in the regional rankings which will give Pueblo a bye the first weekend and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
#1 CSU Pueblo beat Western State 21-3 to go 11-0! Pueblo should now stay number 1 in the nation and the super region. That will give them a bye in the first round of the playoffs (next weekend) then host the second round at the Thunderbowl in Pueblo.
This is the second year in a row Pueblo has not lost a regular season game and won the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC)!
Congratulations Pueblo!!!!!!!!!!!

It's offical. #1 CSU Pueblo will get a bye next weekend. Then on November 24 Pueblo will play the winner of the Midwestern State - Indianapolis game at the Thunderbowl. Kick off will be at noon mountain time. In the meantime Pueblo can sit back, relax and watch the first round of the playoffs.
Colorado State-Pueblo Ends Regular Season at No. 1
The last poll of the 2012 season came out and Pueblo remains as the number 1 team in the nation!
This is from the division 2 coaches' poll:
For the second year in a row, Colorado State-Pueblo finishes the regular season at No. 1. The Thunderwolves beat Western State (Colo.), 21-3, to finish at 11-0 in the regular season and will host a second round playoff game.
The rest of the top six teams in the poll all finished with undefeated regular seasons and will host second round playoff games. Those teams are No. 2 Winston-Salem State (N.C.), No. 3 New Haven (Conn.), No. 4 Ashland (Ohio), No. 5 Minnesota State-Mankato and No. 6 Henderson State (Ark.).
Some good news for CSU Pueblo as quarterback Ross Dausin was names as the RMAC offensive player of the year.
Congratulations!!!!!!
This is from the Pueblo Chieftain:
Colorado State University-Pueblo quarterback Ross Dausin made the preseason prognosticators look like geniuses. The senior from San Antonio was named RMAC offensive player of the year on Tuesday, almost five months after being named preseason offensive player of the year. "I was shocked by the preseason one and this one, to tell you the truth," Dausin said Tuesday. "This whole season I didn't feel any personal pressure. I knew that with this offense, if I just did my job, we'd be successful as a team."
Ya this season flew by. I am ready for the post season play though. I hope Pueblo make it to the championship game this season.....
