Went to Ridgway Saturday for the day at the Ridgway Rendezvous, which surprisingly appears to be a craft fair. Only 85 degrees there and very dry, got to visit with lots of friends which was nice.

Tourists - the wait at the True Grit was 1 hour (no I didn't eat there)

And of course, the cute girl with a hula hoop...a Ridgway tradition.

Jim, you're living a charmed life indeed. Who said you can't have it all in Colorado?

The Weinermobile was parked in the LaQuinta ( Grand Junction ) parking several mornings last week. I can cross it off my bucket list now!

A friend's relative drove the Weinermobile for awhile. From what he said, it was a real pain in the *** to drive--poor visibility, etc. I suppose the guy got all the processed hot dogs he could eat. (Anyone who has seen those things being made would likely never eat one.)

I've never seen a hot dog being made, nonetheless I haven't eaten one of those nasty things in about 40 years. If just 1% of the hearsay about how they are made is true, it is more than enough to keep the medical profession flourishing.

It was a couple of cute college girls who drove the thing, they're heading to Utah then Arizona. I remember meeting Little Oscar when I was a kid. Oh and I don't eat hot dogs, ew.

The cops pulled the Weinermobile over in Tucson a few years ago. Apparently the computer listed them as stolen, but the entry should have said "If these plates are on any vehicle other than the Weinermobile they are stolen".

I work with several people from that agency and nobody can tell my why on earth a cop bothered to run the Weinermobile's plates.
