Thank you all for your kind expressions of sympathy. The last two weeks were quite difficult, but I'm happy that Mom was able to go peacefully, without any pain or discomfort.

I see there's lots of catch-up reading to do. I hope to get caught up in the next day or two and to contribute again. I'm very much looking forward to vacation in Delaware at the end of the month. I though I might have to cancel it for a while, but that won't be necessary.

Thanks again for your support and friendship!

Charley

You are quite welcome Charley.
I know your at happy your mom is at peace. I felt that way when my mom passed too but still the sorrow will linger for a while but lessen with each passing day till all you remember are the happy times.
Not too many have been posting lately so it may not be that much reading.
anyway,
looking forward to your visit the end of the month.
Take care........

I'm looking forward to my visit more now than ever ... and over the past week, with all the wonderful messages I've received, I know that not only do I have friends in Delaware, I know they are high quality folks and I'm looking forward to seeing them!

The only outstanding question regarding my visit is whether we're going to "Where Pigs Fly" for lunch or dinner on Friday, December 28. Once we've determined what's best for the majority, then I can work out the rest of the visit. I'm flexible either way and have no preference. I just need to know which is best for most.

Charley, Are you planning on visiting Nobles Pond? If so, would you give a report on the progress and any other information? Sure wish we could make it down there after Christmas but we will just have to wait patiently, or, not so patiently!!!

Take care.

Hi Joyce,

Of course. I'll give an update on Nobles Pond and anything else I see that would be appropriate for any of the discussions we've all had together.

Thanks, Charley. The next time we visit we are going to go to Nobles Pond. While it is pricey for us, I am thinking of resale values for down the road. Besides, I am trying to " will" myself into hitting the lottery! So far, it's not working for me. Actually for today, I would be pleased beyond words if my Steelers beat those Patriots!!!!! Baltimore had them last time...hard to believe but I was really rootin for those Ravens!!!

Thanks again....
Joyce
