one of these days I will check out the Milford senior center. Also........Kent county board offers trips and activities too.

Yes, I live in a 55+ community in a mobile home park with lots of trees. It has a pool for just the 55 plusers and a small clubhouse.
Yes, it is important to have things that you like to do at a clubhouse or community center!! Your community sounds lovely.

CaroleM's community does sound nice, lots of tempting choices in DE. And for what it's worth, I like the idea of a Chinese buffet, we had one in our town here but they went out of business a few months ago, now we have to go to the next town and the buffet isnt as nice. There's others in the area, just have to find them.

Looking forward to hearing all about Little Eggplant's trip (I sure don't envy them the distance but am sure there's a lot to see and do while traveling, it's a nice time of year, it's a little early but maybe they'll be some nice foliage along the way).

Hi De gang,

What a lovely day today. Just purfect!!!

De offers many good choices with a perfect fit for everyone.

We leave for Maine in the morning so I'm just wrapping up loose ends today. Got a few things to do then relax till 5 in the morning.

Looking forward to the fall foliage on the way up. By the end of Sept we should hit some of it anyway.

Just got back from breakfast and heading out in a few minutes again - EM, have fun in Maine, now nice - we're heading to the Green Mtn State one of these wkends (prob. too early to notice much in the way of leaves turning color but we can always hope <G>, a change of scenery is always good ;-) )
